House painting

Does anyone know of any good companies that do exterior house painting?  Our house is 10 years old, has never been repainted, and after the huge storm recently, looks like C-R-A-P!  The hail did some sort of damage to the paint on the garage and parts of the paint elsewhere.  I am embarrassed for anyone to look at our house in the daylight!

Also does anyone know a ballpark of what it might cost?

Re: House painting

  • I have no idea where to find someone reputable but I think it's pretty expensive.

Good luck and if I hear of anyone, I'll let you know!

  • Oooo I do but he's primarily out in the east valley. Although he might know of someone he can refer you too. you can find painters on Ipainthomes.com my friends name is Tim Rochford 480-232-5474. He's really awsome and fixes stucco on the exterior as well. I know painters who would just paint over it and now you are left with a painted dent.

$1 a square foot is considered a good deal so I would think somewhere in that price range. Also look on hot100contractors.com a lot of businesses are listed there

  • Hey neighbor! I have a fantastic house painter rec for you. He's actually based out of Queen Creek, but I found him on Kudzu and he came up here and did an amazing job.

We called last year in late Oct. and Adam came out for a free estimate, and we booked him for the next week. We got at least 3 estimates and went with this company and I was very happy with the results. Not only did he give us the best quote, but they also had a special on Kudzu at the time and I ended up saving another $375 b/c of a free paint promo, so he was far and away the best deal.

Our job came out to about 73 cents / sq. ft., but it sounds like $1/sf would have been closer to normal.
