Dog update
He came out of surgery fine. One of the bladder stones was the size of a small acorn - they were spiky like pine cones, poor dog! The doc found some polyps in the bladder and is sending them off to be analyzed for tumors/cancer. She said it could also be inflammation from the stones because they were pretty big, so I am keeping my fingers crossed that the results will be good. He is not eating but he is on a new strict diet regimen and could just not like the taste of the food.
My dad has bladder surgery in a few weeks He and the dog will keep each other company as they recuperate.
