good morning! it is POURING here--we are supposed to get a noreaster of rain and wind. woohoo. dont tell anyone, but i kind of like it--living in CA fr the last few years made me deprived of good rain storms.
on my way to work this AM, my closest dearest friend who moved to asia 2 weeks before the wedding (sad face) called me! it was so great to catch up and just talk like girls. we have talked on skype once since she has been gone, but her parents were with me, so it was not the same. made my morning really wonderful!
THEN GERREN HAD TO RUIN IT. he called to tell me that where he was, it was in fact not raining, but FVCKING SNOWING. kill.me.
i cannot wait to now get out of work, go to the gym, go get a fancy bottle of mcmannis wine, and make stir fry and watch a movie and mourn the fact that snow is already here.
also, i cut off about 6" of my hurr last night. i love it.

Shauni, I'm so jealous. I can't wait to chop my hair off but can't decide what I want to do. I think I'm just going to have to schedule it and see what my stylist can do haha
So excited for the weekend - we're painting the trim so our kitchen will finally be finished and giving Zumba a try tomorrow. Should be interesting, I'm far from coordinated... Plus Phillies games all weekend which will keep the H happy.
We're seeing Jason and Grant from the Ghost Hunters tonight and Sunday is our 1 month anniv. so we're probably going out to dinner. We're also supposed to go to the orchard and pick apples so I can make apple crisp and apple sauce.
And yay, FINALLY FRIDAY.
ETA: Someone help me. I told H that it's s-ing in Vermont (since I refuse to type the word) and now he's SINGING CHRISTMAS SONGS.

First off, is it weird that when I watched the weather channel and there was a biiitch of a storm over VT I thought of you? I feel like maybe I'm spending too much time around here. :-P Second - I loooove McMannis wine. Yum! Third - I want to see pics of your hair cut!! I keep thinking about chopping mine, just for something different, but I'm afraid I'll miss my long hair too much!
My weekend - probably boring. I'm sick, so I'll probably just sleep. And keep cleaning my disgusting house. Maybe take some crap to Goodwill to make room for the new crap. Wow. I'm exciting...
Tonight, H and I are going to an Albany Devils game (AHL affiliate of the NJ Devils). It's "Dollar Dawg Night" (they're mascot is actually the "Devil Dawg"). So cheap hot dogs!
Tomorrow, is homecoming/reunion at RPI (alma mater). Not that it's our reunion quite yet, but it's always a fun day. There's free food, about a million games (soccer, football, hockey) and then acapella extravaganza. I'm obsessed with RPI, so I will enjoy it immensely, even if it's a little cold and wet.
Sunday, we're going to a harvest festival with MOH and BM in MA.
Should be a good weekend.
Aloooooo. I spent the train ride in listening to some lady whine and whine and WHINE about her breakup. So I'm sympathetic to that stuff...until I hear that they went on THREE DATES and that the breakup happened THREE MONTHS AGO. Get over it! Pathetic! Stop ruining my commute with your whining!

To post the picture, I think you use the little icon at the top of the text box that looks like a tree. You might have to save the image to your desktop first to do it.

sunshine, you cannot just upload a photo via the tree anymore, you have to have a URL address etc. check that sh*t out. it sucks.

For the weekend, we need to CLEAN the house. But with 3 teenage boys inthe house tonight it might have to wait until later in the weekend. Tomorrow H has a Dr appointment that will take up most of the morning. Then we have a bday party for our nephew and watch another nephew play football. So far Sunday is open-maybe applesauce making.

I'm incredibly happy the weekend is here because this week has been brutal at work. We just can't seem to have a single episode without problems. Yesterday I was juggling 4 projects on 2.5 computers. Yay!
For the weekend, tomorrow morning I'm headed to the DMV to change my license! Then baking cupcakes for DH's poker game - my secret goal is to get the boys loving my baking so they beg to come over to the house. DH still won't pick a date for a house party. We also really need to unpack - which is Sunday's plan.
Ohh. Interesting. Maybe you can get it from Photobucket or Tinypic and put it in? That's kinda annoying. I also hate how you can't just type a link in here and make it clicky. You have to insert the link. Boo, TN.

Happy Friday! I'm so glad the weekend is finally here. It's been rough at work the past few weeks.
Tom is going away this weekend with his buddies on a golf trip so it will be me and Ralph all weekend. Tonight I was hoping that a few girls could come over and hang out but that's still up in the air. I'm going to stop on my way home and get some wine and see how the night goes.
Tomorrow I'm going to a beer festival with my MIL - when Tom forgot about it and made plans I decided to ask his Mom to go. She loves beer so we are going to have a good time. I will also be watching the Phillies Saturday and Sunday! Go Phils!!

Please noone mention snow. It's been in the 60/70s with the fall crispness in the air and it's beautiful! Halloween is usually our first blizzard of the year. I'm trying to do the sun dance and keep the heat here as long as possible!
Tonight we're celebrating my bday w/ dinner, bowling and dancing. VERY excited! Haven't seen my besties since the wedding almost a MONTH ago and I miss those biatches. Saturday we're going to MIL's to get some weird metaphysical stuff done. Apparently DH and I have digestive problems that can be solved w/ some hypnosis. Oh the joys of having a psychic MIL w/ sensitive friends.
Sunday we're going to the Bronco game! My brother got us tix for my bday. Super excited. It's orange out day, so I'll have to do some shopping. Even though I've avoided orange Bronco apparel my entire life. Guess it's time to move on. Blondes look good in orange, yeah?
BTW, Steph, does MFD stand for your hubby? I'm such a knob, I just wanna make sure

MFD is my hubby's initials. I always call him that, and when the facebooks became popular and I referred to him as that in my status updates, people thought I was calling him Michael F&($%@ D____ (he is quite a zany character) instead of Michael Francis _____ and got a huge kick out of it.
And sometimes I *am* calling him Michael F@%^^@% D____. LOL
Haha, LOVE IT! Then I saw OTHER people on FB using MFD, so I wasn't sure. And I usually celebrate my bday most of October too. Then it's halloween so the party continues

I'm going tonight w/ DH to a seafood festival a few towns over, hoping that will be fun and yummy!
Tomorrow my Mom is coming down since we have to go to DMV (finally changing my name there) and we're having her name come totally off of my car title. Then her and I will go shopping and have a nice girls day since DH has to work until 7pm!
Sunday will be spent watching football, doing laundry, and cleaning house - I cleaned some last night so it's not a total wreck when my Mom comes into town tomorrow, but it needs good cleaning!
I cannot believe it's already *ahem-ing* in some parts!
I don't want to jinx saying the actual word and have it move south any! That white stuff that occassionally falls from the sky in VA is nice to see at first, but after last winter I never want to see IT or it's counterpart ICE again!
I know of the turning your PJs inside out and sleeping in them to make it precipitate white outside, but is there a dance or something to do to KEEP IT AWAY???
