What's everyone cooking tonight?
I am making chicken cordon bleu w/risotto and english peas. I hate peas, but DH thinks they are great with risotto.
Re: What's for dinner?
Hmm...good question. Probably a salad.
I'm bad though. I got an apple pie from McDonald's that I'm going to heat up later and have ice cream with. Who knew $1 could make me so happy?!?
I have no idea what we're having for dinner! I just wanted to say that I adore peas but even more so in risotto!
Peas are one vegetable I have never been able to aquire a taste for. The thought of eating them makes me gag. I'll be cooking some squash for myself.
lol, my mom is the same way. She couldn't believe it when I told her I was on a "pea" kick.
I also hate peas!! GROSS
I was going to cook wild salmon, okra with stewed tomatoes, and brown rice, but DH is cooking late so it may be hummus w/triscuit and ice cream. We'll see...
Well, since I forgot to turn the crockpot yesterday and our salsa chicken went bad, I thought I would try that again. I remembered to turn it on today.
It is so simple to put together...we will see tonight if it is delicious as well.
Salsa chicken in the crockpot is one of my favorites! I also have a recipe for crockpot chicken tortilla soup that I make alot in the winter.
I would LOVE your tortilla soup recipe. That is one of my and DH's favorite soups, and it would be great to have it ready when we get home from work.
leftovers...boiled chicken and rice...so exciting
