Today = Greatness
Today (two weeks later) we FINALLY got the ruling on the legal situation that's going on with my family. We didn't get everything we wanted but I do feel like the judge really took into account the full spectrum of the case and made a very thoughtful decision.
I'm also a little bit shocked because I actually wound up being given most of the power and responsibility for my grandfather's estate/care (which I think nobody was expecting). It's a lot to take on but I'm more than happy to do it. The only thing my crazy uncle was given was physical custody but the judge really cracked down on him about what kind of care my grandfather was receiving and this too could easily (here's hoping!) be taken away from him.
This is a temporary ruling so we will have to go back to court to finalize things but it feels so good to have the waiting over with. I'm so happy today I could just cry and I feel like so many of my prayers have been answered. Thank ya'll so much for listening and keeping me in your thoughts!
