What's the going rate for a floral centerpiece?
For one of my Christmas parties, I'm thinking about having pro flowers done, but I don't want to start inquiring without at least a ballpark. I got married 4 years ago and can't remember what I paid.
I was thinking one long & low one for the coffee table (maybe 10"x24"ish) and a taller, typical one for the main table (not overly large, the table is only 48" and the chandelier is low).
[Yes, yes, I know it's regional and varies by flowers... :P]
Re: What's the going rate for a floral centerpiece?
We got a killer deal on flowers for our wedding (2 years ago) and we live in the NE, so take this with a grain of salt...
We paid between 40 and 60 for our wedding centerpieces. We had two different styles, but neither were super tall.
Our local supermarket has an AWESOME florist and is so inexpensive. Definitely don't be afraid to look somewhere besides typical flower shops.
I think you're just going to need to make that first call.
When I worked In NYC really nice centerpieces ranged from 50.00 to 250.00 per table. That was a couple years ago now...
I still live in the "burbs" and have paid as little as 15.00 for a really nice hostess gift type bouquet.
HTH.
