When is the best time to buy Airline tickets ?
If it's less then 1 month away? Do airlines have point now days when they just want "fill the plane" & if so when is that?
I opps and didn't buy my tickets last week & the price has jumped $100+ out of my price range.

I heard something on NPR last week (I think) that in the past you could risk it and wait until closer to your flight date and things *might* go down but this year they are saying that isn't going to happen as much as you are better off booking early.
For international travel I've found that around the 3 month mark is usually the lowest and for domestic, 1.5 months prior. Anything less than that and the prices usually are higher. Usually.
As for the Bing predictor - eh, I've used it but never relied on it. I've seen it say to wait only to watch my flight increase.
If anyone is looking to travel Frontier Airline is having a BIG sale until tomorrow. Prices have dropped over $100 for the flight I need
