organic kids vitamins?

I need to get a vitamin with iron for my son. Flintstone's have a bunch of dyes in them that I never realized (b/c I never really looked). What store or online site do you recommend (or brand) of vitamins for kids. Thanks!

Re: organic kids vitamins?

  • I really like The Vitamin Shoppe. I buy DD's fish oil there and a few other things for myself.
  • My son needs iron and takes an Rx liquid form. It used to be in his chewable multi vitamin, but that changed, and now I have to give it separately.
  • So I'm not a kid, but I do take multivitamins and I have a hard time swallowing pills so I usually take kids versions.

This company makes adult and kids vitamins that are gummy.  They're dye and allergen free, but I don't think they're organic.  They are made in the US, which wins bonus points.  And they're soooo yummy, which wins more bonus points.

We usually get them at Costco.  We take the kids version of calcium (they're gummy bears with a super healthy and delicious sugar coating Wink) and the adult version of the multivitamins.  We'd get the adult calcium if it was available at our store.

  • Check out the brand Rainbow Light.
