We had a remodel project go out on Friday which included drawings (plans, elevations etc.) plus a spec (specifications for which products to use). The owner of the project (bathroom remodels in a small apartment building) just wrote with a big long list of stuff to change and all sorts of requirements we were supposed to magically know. Ummm.....you got a set to review last week before the final issuing...why not review then?? I'm frustrated beyond belief. Now they are going to be ticked to have to pay for more of my time to go in and change just about everything.
Great way to start a Monday :-/
Any other work gripes? Let them out here. Then pass me a cocktail. ![]()
Re: What the whaa? Ugh.
Yummy.
No work vents. I start a new job next Monday and I am starting to get nervous. However, that sounds insanely frustrating to have to deal with already on Monday.

How frustrating.
I had my yearly evaluation Friday. I'm "satisfactory" (it's the highest rating we have) and was told that the county board is making a recommendation for no raises this year at all, not even cost of living. So basically I'm satisfactory and I get no raise. I told my coworker that it was pretty much like I had immunity for the year and didn't use it.
I feel your pain. I get really high scores on my reviews too ... but salaries have been frozen here for 3 years so it does me no good. I still don't get a raise.

Kiz - you know I feel your pain.
The projects I work on are the kind where the budget isn't a budget because you have to have money to call it a budget. It never fails though. People think you can change everything in a few hours. You know, because you have a computer program that does everything for you. Just tell the pretty picture making machine to do it.

*snort* yeah, totally. :-)
Turns out my boss lady is doing most of this stuff. Whew. Still irritating though.
No work related events to crab about today, but totally a family related one from yesterday.
I admit it, I HATE disorganization, and I HATE even more lazy, chaotic, disorganization, and yesterday I had to be surrounded by that for nephew's baptism. I think at one point I actually told DH I hated his sister.
UGH...now I can't make a PDF to save my life! Waaaaaaaaaaaah.
MONDAY SUCKS.
Hallelujah this is a 3-day week for me. We're going to Duluth Wednesday night for our 3 year (!!!!) anniversary and I am planning on hopping in our in-room whirlpool and raising my glass to no work for 2 days.
