Where did you get your Christmas tree?
This wiil be our first Christmas married and living away from our folks and I just got to thinking that we're going to nee da christmas tree this year. I want a very full tree and I'm not having luck finding any like what I want. Sooooo where did you get your tree and how much was it? Pre-lit is fine, but I have this thing I feel the best part of christmas is untangling those dang lights. Don't ask why, I just do.
I really wish we could do a real tree, but (A) I'm allergic to everything, (B) I hear they're a PITA, and (C) after seeing Christmas Vacation, I believe it.
TIA for answering this!
Re: Where did you get your Christmas tree?
I got mine (pre-lit) at target. It really starts to look full if you move the branches around properly and then add a bunch of ornaments. Especially bigger ornaments.
I highly recommend pre-lit and if you enjoy untangling lights, save it for the lights you put up around your house. That way, if the novelty of it ever wears off, you still have a pre-lit tree.
I got mine at Walmart. It's a 7 1/2 foot pre-lit tree. I think it was about $90.
TTC #1 since 08/11 IUI#2 = BFP!
It's prelit, tall and extra skinny, but very full. From sears. Paid $190 at 60% off. Still expensive, but well worth it.

Well, we use a real tree - despite my allergies! They are so nice!!!
However, a few years ago we were living in someone else's place while building our new house and we bought a fake, pre-lit. It's 7 feet tall and we got it at Home Depot. It's been great - we put it on our front porch.
I'm also in the Christmas tree market. I'm kicking myself for not buying one at the end of the last Christmas season when they were one sale, because I knew I would be needing one this Christmas, and they're much cheaper then.
I'll be going for pre-lit though - I HATE untangling lights! I also like a nice full tree, so I suspect I'm doing to have to shell out a bit for that. And all the ornaments, since it'll be the first tree I've done all on my own (well, it'll be with my SO, but he doesn't have any ornaments to contribute either).
We got our at wal mart after Christmas a few years ago. It's 7ft and thin but full. It' not prelit because I find the prelit trees just don't have as many lights as I like.
