Does this invitation wording sound right?
I've been hesitating to order these because I'm not certain about the good cheer part. A toast of? A toast to? A toast of good cheer to the season?
Please drop in for
a toast of
Good Cheer (fancy cursive)
Friday, December 17th
7-11 pm
name & address
RSVP
I kinda like it the way it is and it looks nice on the on-screen preview, but I wanted to make sure it sounded right to someone else. If you really dislike the wording overall, please tell me.
Re: Does this invitation wording sound right?
I LOVE the invite! So cute.
I'm hesitant on the wording, though, just because it's not really clear what you're inviting people to. Is it just cocktails? A dinner? Tree trimming?
Unless it's a gathering you have every year that people will know what to expect, I would make the wording a little more specific, at least so people know whether or not to eat before hand!
Ditto to everything. Super cute invite, not 100% clear, but if people know what to expect b/c it's not the first time or b/c they've been chatting with you about it, then you're all good.
The invites are lovely. Here is a little help; you always toast "to" so don't use a toast "of"
otherwise ditto pps.
