Last night, we had our end of the year party at the golf course. My boss (who I loathe) mentioned and thanked and praised EVERY department, except the one I work in. I don't know if it was on purpose or not, but I am so livid because the tavern brings in a TON of $!

My whine this week: I dont know how else to help my brother...I communicate with his teachers, we do homework together (which takes all night) but he is still stuggling...he has no study habits- we're trying to instill them but its 16 years of bad habits...I'm just beside myself...

My whine is that my computer isn't working.... AGAIN!  It turns on and looks like it's starting up but then I get a blue screen and it starts over again.  It just keeps going in circles.  I'll never buy another DELL because I've had this one for 2 years and I've sunk a TON of money into it because it's like a lemon for computers.  This thing keeps happening when I spent $500 last summer for it not to happen again.  Dell keeps telling me it's my fault but I highly doubt that - I basically use it for the internet and nothing else.  UGH!  Anyone know someone I can hire to fix my computer?

My whine is that after my grandfather's passing last week, certain relatives have become, shall we say.. greedy. It makes me sick to my stomach and i can't figure out why they just wouldn't want him back instead of his belongings.

Abba-unfortunately there are so many high school kids like your brother. I'm not sure what happened, but kids either don't know how to or just don't study anymore. Keep doing your best, you are wonderful for doing it.

My whines seem dumb today, but I'll get them out anyway.  I have bronchitis.  And I am working on something with someone who hasn't contributed ANYTHING but keeps "quarterbacking" what I am doing.  I think I am going to tell her to shove it soon.

LadyRed - We had the same thing happen when my Gram died. It was awful. I'm so sorry. It took my dad standing up and saying exactly what you did about having them back to even start to turn it around. Death isn't easy to begin with...why does it have to bring out the worst in some people?

My whine is that I got a cold and AF on the same day. I'm not TTC but just the timing is awful. I am bloated, crampy, stuffy, headachy...I know I shouldn't complain.

And I really miss my family and upstate. Today is just a day when the city is getting on my nerves (thank you gangs and violence).
