We're getting a fancy cake for my school and the woman who is in charge invited me and a co-worker to go along for the consultation next month.  I am PUMPED. 

This morning was pretty crappy, but that totally makes up for it.  Boo-yah!

It's not lame, I'd do the same thing. I wonder if they tell you that it would be on tv or not....well, they have to do they? Confidentiality stuff or something?

If you were going to appear on tv, they'd have to get you to sign a release waiver.  Which (I think) can include a confidentiality agreement.

i love the show, i wanted them to do our wedding cake, but it'd cost a lot more than we could afford!

And I forgot to say, I'm very jealous!  That's awesome.  My co-worker got to drive by the bakery (which she said was scary cause it's not a very nice neighborhood?), but going inside is way more fun!

I know they'd have to tell us if it was on TV, but I was thinking we might not know until that day (like, 'hey, do you mind if we film you? sign this') so I want to be prepared.  I will definitely tell you guys if it's on TV!

We walked by the store when my sister and her BF were here for the wedding, because they're obsessed with the show, and we saw two of the bakers outside spray-painting something (Geoff, one of my faves, and a girl whose name I don't remember but she does a lot of figure work).  It was pretty cool.

Ferdy - I like Cake Boss better, too.  Plus you can go in their shop, because they actually have a bakery.  But Charm City is where I live so I'm not going to complain
