i am such a puss that i am so proud of myself for just making the appointment!  gerren and i are going halloween weekend to get them

In most places it only hurts for the first minute or so and then goes kinda numb. 

I want another one now! But then I'd need to find a decent tattoo place in the middle of no where...

When I was getting the 2 I have done they stopped hurting as much once my endorphines kicked in, which was a pleasant relief!

gerren and i are getting the roman numerals of our wedding date ala eva longoria parker and her hubby.  gerren will get his on his ring finger since he cant wear his ring to work (just like tony!) and i am getting mine on my ankle.  really small, nothing elaborate.  plain, simple, literally JUST like this (same size and urrthing):

If you're doing the outside of your ankle, go about 2 inches up from the bone and it will be less painful. I have one on the inside of my ankle and it starts right above that rounded bone that connects your foot (I'm super-technical here, can't ya tell) and it didn't hurt. You know that stinging feeling after a cat scratch? Thats what it was like.

Ya know Shauni-- real tough guys don't make appointments for tats.....we just walk all up in there with a bottle of Jack and hand the guy a fist full of money.
