WOOHOO!!! My parents are taking us out to eat tonight for Adam's birthday (this past Sunday) and Adam picked this awesome Mexican food place that's up the street from our house. The only thing about it that I side-eye, is that they have a drink called the "Marga-rona". It's a regular old margarita with a Corona dumped upside down in it. Um... that sounds disgusting. Why not just add some tequila to your beer? VOM.
Re: Marga-rona
My grandma offered to take HH and I out for his birthday (last Sunday) and he refused. Well he's so laid back he was like "meh - it doesnt matter". I was upset - I could have used a Marga-rona or two! Just kidding...that things sounds nasty.
have you seen the drink that is like a bloody mary but they put Dos Equis in it? I love bloody mary's but dont think i could have one w/ beer in it...yuck!
ETA: totally just realized our husbands have the same birthday!
Sounds like fun! I love Mexican food =]
My HH's birthday is today, he didn't want to go out and he wouldn't let me have him a party. He's all about celebrating my birthday big, but when it comes to his own he's no fun lol
The beer with tomato juice is called a Red beer and is very popular with the cowboys from the Rodeo. I think it looks disgusting but they swore it cured their hangovers. I have found another drink of any kind is a cure for a hangover oh well!!!
I don't get the whole big hype about birthdays. My darling husband won't let us do anything for his birthday but he takes the whole week off generally and he took the whole week of my birthday off and we went to california. I don't know but I think a dinner is always a nice way to go. Enjoy mexican I love mexican hmmm actually might have to call in an order on the way home wooohooo!!!
Kevin turned 26.
Adam does not look like he's 30!
Is there a problem with this?
srsly. A "lobsterita" aka the giant margarita from Red Lobster at lunch = win. I may have a problem...
My mom's birthday was Monday. She decided she wanted to go get dessert at the Cheesecake Factory (my dad always makes her a special birthday dinner, so we don't usually go out for dinner). Then later that day she decided that she'd rather wait until next weekend because she is tired from work this week. UMMMM, this is totally about me and my dessert needs. jerk.

Marga-rona = Gross
Margarita = Alcoholic Goodness
You now have me craving enchiladas and margaritas. Too bad I have to settle for pork chops and mashed potatoes from a box...Dan is cooking. Booo! But I hope you had a great dinner.
HAHAHA! This is why I love you.
I love margaritas. I love beer. I do not think that I would like a combination of the two at ALL.
I don't get the big fuss about birthdays, either. I have a coworker well into her 60's who refuses to work on her birthday, her husband's birthday, or their anniversary. Whereas my birthday falls during a mandatory all-campus multiple-day workshop every year-- I always have to go in early and stay late that day! We do try to go out for dinner, though.
