Save Our Strays Fundraiser
There is a fundraiser tomorrow night (Thursday, 10/21) from 7-10pm at Moonlight On The Mountain Cafe in Hoover. It's a $10 cover/donation and there will be a band and appetizer type food. I think it is BYOB. I am not an organizer, just trying to get the word out for them. Their website is saveourstrays.org
They are one of the few no kill shelters around. I heard a statistic tonight (from one of the organizers) that there are 9,000 strays brought to shelters each year in Alabama and from that 6,000 are euthanized! If you can go or spread the word that would be great!
