Update: bf's bday
Thanks for all the suggestions ladies. The reunion was what it was...everyone kinda split up in their own groups, just like in high school. I stayed long enough to talk to my closest friend from HS, and walk around so people could see how great I look 
, then we drove up to Montague.
We found out last week that he had to work the night shift this week, so we ended up leaving earlier on Sunday so that he could work, but it was still really nice. We slept in the room that had a big window facing the water, so we woke up to the sunrise and then sat on the deck drinking our coffee and enjoying the view. Then had a late breakfast that was yummy at a local place, and let the dog go for a cold swim that he LOVED. All in all, a great weekend. 
One nice thing was that we stayed at his sister's on Friday night in Ada and took a long walk in her neighborhood. It just reminded me, again, how much I miss living on the west side. Scott's sister would really like him to live there, so we talked about potentially making the effort to move back to GR in the future. It would all depend on me being able to find a new job and selling my house. It is of course at least a few years away, but...*fingers crossed*

Sounds like a good weekend.
Hopefully things pickup soon in your line of field. DH was laid off a year ago from his small firm. Somehow the stars were aligned correctly and he found another job three weeks later. I'm still in utter shock about that.
