Totally long winded answer, but...
This summer we had an 18-yo intern in our department. She loves mustard and ate it on everything. One day my boss goes, "You should try some of my poupon I have at my desk." To which the intern replies, "What the hell is a poop-on?" She's too young to remember the "Pardon me, but do you have any Grey Poupon?" commercials! Those were one of the staple commercials from my childhood...

I LIVED for my Polly Pocket.
They still have Boxcar Children in the bookstores. When I couldn't find BSC books for my niece, I bought her Boxcar Children instead. She loves them!
Popples!! No one ever remembers these... They have a pouch on their backs and fold up into a ball. I was a popple for Halloween one year - wish I had that picture!

i loved girl talk, dream phone and mall madness...my parents hated playing those with me and insisted i bring friends home to play with me instead lol. i carried around my 2 polly pockets with in my purse wherever i went and i'd run off the school bus inside the house to turn on bill nye!
these are bringing back such great memories!!!
i dont know why all these things faded out with time!
life was SO much easier back them as a kid!

I have about 8 grand of my little pony ORIGINAL stuff sitting in my daughters room right now :-) I had a lot and my mom garage saled it when I was like 12 my aunt this spring found a lady that had a bunch her daughter was spoiled rotten and her dad bought her all of it! So my mom paid $75 for the lot :-)
Babysitters club books: I have about 40 original ones of mine in a tote in my garage!
