Update! Kylie is missing :(

I (stupidly) left the door open yesterday for .2 seconds and now our new kitty is no where to be found. we spent all night and morning lookng for her.  i'm devestated but had to come to work Crying

oh yeah, and we're expecting a hurricane.

Update: Kylie is back in her momma's arms safe and sound (purring as i type this in fact!). After a couple more hours of searching for her this afternoon, I heard the faintest cry and was able to track down my scared, soaking wet, orange puff ball in the woods behind our house. I can not tell you the relief i felt when i got my hands on her.  Thank you so much for the encouraging words - i kept reading them to get me through the day Embarrassed

  • oh no!  She is probably hunkered down somewhere and will be back.  She was a stry right?  So she prob knows how to take care of herself and is smart enough to know where her food is.  I bet she will be back soon!  What is with our cats this week?  I am going to keep an eye on drew this weekend!

  • yeah, i keep reminding myself that she survived outside for weeks before we took her in so she should be fine.  I'm mostly sad about the possibility that she's gone forever - and its my fault.  She was supposed to have her spay surgery today and let me tell you, that phone call to the vet was not fun :(

definitely keep an eye on little drew!

  • Maybe it has to do with cats with K names. My Kayleigh went MIA  earlier this week. She is home safe and sound now and hopefully Kylie will be as well.

Hope she returns from her adventure happy and healthy.

  • Kylie will be back, no worries. Be safe in the hurricane.
  • Oh no! I am so sorry. I hope she finds her way home very soon. My cousins kitty of 10 years escaped one day but showed back up two days later. I hope you have the same happy ending.
  • I'm sure she'll be back. Our cat ran away--like BOLTED,

I swear she planned it-- a few days later she was back.
