Thank god its finally here.............I so wanted to call out of work stay in bed til noon watch my soaps and clean the house! Instead Im at work.....being very non productive!!
On the highlight of things.....I sold lots of wedding stuff on Trash to Treasure. Sold our wedding photo box that DH made for 85.00 I will never use it again and have no wear to place it! So happy and we mailed the IRS the amended tax return to get the 8500.00 tax credit for the house so we can get busy replacing the carpet with wooden floors, gutting the bathrooms because DH wants porcelain tile instead of whatever is there now and wants river rock stones in the shower and getting a fence put up for the half of football field of a yard!!
Anyone have big plans for the weekend?
We are going to pumpkin patch tommorow, tonite Im going out with girls for dinner & wine and to start christmas shopping!

That is SO what I wanted to do today too! But my boss is out today, so I decided to suck it up and come in and not waste a "sick" day on a day when no one's here to babysit me. :-)
Nothing too big for the weekend. H's birthday is next weekend, and a band we really love is playing in the city tomorrow night, so I'm taking him to that and for drinks with some friends. Tonight is happy hour after work. Other than that, probably more organizing the house. I'm so lazy on the weekdays, and it's taking for.ev.er to get things organized when I only work at it on the weekends...
I so wanted to call out today to sleep in, put my house in order, and get a pedicure, but alas I only have two V days left for the year, and one is for Thanksgiving weekend and one is for Christmas weekend to extend my holidays.
Supercalifragilisticexpialidociously excited for the weekend: date tonight with MFD. Saturday hausfrauing, hair cut and color (not going to go short yet), Relay For Life Ladies pub crawl and the Phils game. Sunday hangover recovery, lunch at OTB and lounging with my mom, aunt and one of my BFFs and the Phils again.
I hope today goes fast.
These late baseball games are killing me. I'm tired!
I feel your pain. I hope their game Saturday doesn't get changed to a night time (but I do want the Texans to win so I'm torn) - I'd like to actually see a whole game through and not wake up at 1 disoriented and having missed the end.
Nothing too exciting this weekend. Tonight is massively cleaning the house for tomorrow. Then tomorrow, my group of friends is coming down to South Jersey so we can go pumpkin picking in the morning, then Phillies/scary movie night back at our place. Sunday is more house cleaning and hopefully desiging my thank yous so I can send them to the printer and get them out of my life before Thanksgiving.
morning girls. i woke up to ice on my car and then FLURRIES OF SNOW here in town. unacceptable. really.
tonight mr. gerren and i are going on a date as well. then tomorrow we are cleaning the house, doing some errands, and preparing for our friends to come visit for the night
we are making chili, cornbread, spiced cider, and playing games. i am such a loser. sunday gerren works all day, so i will clean from the night before and then gym it. and i am trying a pioneer woman recipe on sunday night. yum.

Yay! You mean he finally gets a day off?! That's awesome! I wanna come eat chili and play games! I love that type of stuff, but K always calls me lame. Mostly I think b/c I always whoop his azz at Scrabble and he gets mad.
Also - I can't believe it's snow weather already! Snow means I finally have to stop wearing my flip flops, and that just makes me depressed.

Hell, where did this week go? I can't believe it's Friday. This 9-5 thing is killing me. I really miss working from home and only going on site occasionally. When is it appropriate to start drinking on Friday? I spotted some gin and tonic in the office kitchen here.

Hi everyone - finally a little breather but I'm still busy at work. These two weeks have been filled with crazy clients who are short cooks with tall orders. Which has led me to be super tired and unmotivated to exercise.
My boss has been on the verge of tears almost every day..which sucks.
Weekend plans - nothing too exciting. Hopefully still meeting up with some running friends for lunch tomorrow, have work in online classes due and then the usual cleaning and laundry to do.
