TGIF ladies! I feel like this was a long week for some reason

What are everyone's weekend plans?

 

Tonight: football game with MIL and then over to one of the coach's house to hang out with the other football wives while the guys watch the film of the game

Saturday/Sunday: DH and I are proctoring the ACT test tomorrow until about 12 and then we're off to a weekend getaway. DH has planned it all so I have no clue where we're going or what we're doing! I'm super excited!

Today: Our last full day in Ottawa.  We're going to Parliament Hill (I guess it would be Canada's White House), and a little shopping.

Tomorrow: Farmer's Market, and fly home with my mom & babygirl around dinner.  I'm SOO excited to see DH! He's been away so much this month, and he has Sunday off

Sunday: Football and hanging out with DH.

I'm adding Monday in here too.. hehe.  I have my government job interview at 11am.  It's the job that I'm a bit overqualified for, but they recently posted an opening for the manager of that new job.  I emailed the lady asking permission to apply, basically so I wouldn't piss her off that I wanted to be considered for both.  With the government though, they have such a nice range, and they base it on years of additional experience or education.  I would be at the top of the range, so I definitely would take the position if offered.  Fingerscrossed!!! Oh, and RIM has been ignoring me.  Something is going on in my profile, but nothing being said to me.

Tonight: date night with DH.  We are going to a brewery that we both love.

Saturday: couch shopping and making cookies

Sunday: family dinner

Somewhere this weekend I need to work in laundry, lesson plans, and food shopping.

Tonight we are going to see one of my favorite bands- I hope they play mostly old stuff b/c I really don't like their latest CD.

 Tomorrow we are supposed to have softball-  but it will probably be rained out.  We are definitely going window shopping (literally going window shopping) to get some idea of what we will need to do as soon as we close on our house.  Tomorrow night we will probably continue with our thank you note writing (between moving and my dad, we got a little behind on this!) while watching the Phillies.  

Sunday we are either going to brunch or I am making brunch for my niece who is in town visiting her friends.  And whatever we end up doing the rest of the day, I will be going to bed early b/c I have to leave for work by 6am on Monday morning... I need to proctor a test starting at 7:20 am!

Update to my RIM comment:  I got a 2nd interview

It's been almost 3 weeks since my phone interview, and the recruiter had said max 5 days, so I had officially lost hope last night.  Of course, a Friday at 4:30pm, I got a call!  I was sitting next to my sister, so I had to run upstairs to her office to talk, but my interview is next Thursday at 1pm.  I'm beyond happy. And I can only talk about it with you guys and DH so I had to thread jack.

I'm off this weekend, planning on spending the day with DH tomorrow and doing some house work on sunday.

I worked at one job then covered football tonight.

Tomorrow I work until mid-afternoon, then chill because H is working.

Sunday, work. Shocking right?
