Knoxville Newlyweds
Hi!! My husband and I live in Knoxville, and we are hoping to meet some other Knoxville couples. We're in our twenties, and it's been hard to meet other couples our age since most are at a different stage in their life than we are. My husband has been deployed since April, and will be home soon. We love to meet new people, and hope to find some on here!!

We just got married, but even when we were engaged we started noticing that it would be nice to have other married friends.
It must be even harder with your husband deployed! When will he be home?
Hi Jennifer!! It has been hard, but he will finally be home this month!! Have you found any good ways to meet local couples? It's very hard!!
We have the same problem. I think it's because lots of people that live here have lived her all their lives and already have their set friends.
We're military also, 28 and 31 with no kids, so I definitely feel your pain. I have made a few friends though a website called Meet Up, but it's hit or miss. This board is SO slow too - I think I've looked here like once in three months.
We should all do lunch or something!
I agree. It's very difficult to even know where to start to meet couples!! I've never tried that site, but I think I will. I have been tryin' to keep up with this, but it really is slow and you forget it's here at all.

I think we'll be able to pick something after the New Year. It's so crazy around this time of year!! What part of Knoxville are ya'll in? We're in West, Farragut/Ball Camp area, but I can do lunch or dinner anywhere.
