Fit Friday!

Good afternoon, lovelies!  How was everyone's week this week?  Do we have some losers?  I hope so!  Even if not, as always, this marks the start of a new week and next week will be better!

 There's an article on yahoo about healthy snacks to keep at your desk.  What healthy snacks do you keep at your desk or in the house?

 

I lost another pound this week.  That makes 7 total...and I started exercising this week after taking last week off.  Wow...I didn't think 1 would off would make such a huge difference.  I'm so sore!  As for snacks.  At work I keep low fat granola bars that I normal have for breakfast.  I have fresh salsa at home and organic torillas, apple sauce, carrots, cucumbers, and almonds are my snacks of choice at the moment.

  • Wow, no one today?  Is everyone eating halloween candy in the closet? Wink
  • The beginning of my week wasn't so great eating-wise - Girls Weekend meant we ate out the entire trip. But I did get my butt up two mornings while we were there and go running. My next 5k is in two weeks so I need to keep up with it. But, my heel is bothering me so I'm giving myself one more day rest and will be heading to the gym tomorrow.
  • I did ok this week. Only made it to the gym twice but that's a 200% improvement over last week. I ate really good with the exception of last night. We went out for my dad and MIL's bdays and I totally gourged myself. What I ate wasn't all that bad though. I lost 3lbs and AF is in town so I'm hoping it's more like 5, lol. I really try not to snack much and keep nothing really in the house. Portion control when snacking is nearly impossible for me. If I do, I like granola and yogurt.
