I hope you see this! I feel like I haven't seen you on the boards lately.

So, my family is looking at renting a villa at Turtle Bay next summer. Was there a lot to do on the North Shore? How were the restaurants?

Re: *Mandee*

  • I'm here, I'm here! Turtle Bay was absolutely fantastic! there was all kinds of stuff to do right on the resort - hiking, snorkeling, horseback riding, tennis, golf, etc.

the restaurants on the resort were pretty good - there's a bar by the pool that serves food, as well as a buffet style restaurant, and a more fancy pants restaurant as well... the kind that serves 6 courses with paired wine for each course. I would venture out and see what you can find outside though too. we found a little shack right on the road that Turtle Bay is on, and they had really good food (I bought a tee shirt... that's how good it was, haha).

we also did the shark diving on the North Shore - the marina is only about a 10 minute drive from the resort.
