I know this board is slow, but I'll keep my fingers crossed that someone has a suggestion!
DH just got a job in Richmond and is moving next month- I'm here in Raleigh until the end of the semester (Jan.). I have an office I go to here, but I want to go ahead an switch so the bulk of my prenatal care will be with the same office (and so I have time to switch again if I don't like who I see at first)....
Anyone have a suggestion for midwives or an ob/gyn who is natural birth friendly (or at least open to it)? We'll be living near Carytown, DH is working in Midlothian, and I'm fine with any recommendations in the Richmond area.
TIA!
Re: Recommendations for ob/gyn or MW?
I live int he RVA, and Nancy Giglio has been recommended to me by several friends.
Here is her website: http://www.richmondbirthservices.com/about.php
I'm waaaaay late on this thread, but I go to Virginia Women's Center off Forest (near Glenside Dr/Univ of Richmond). The practice there is fabulous. My OB/Gyn is Dr. Czyszczon ("sigh-ZON"), and she delivered my baby earlier this year. She's open to natural birth and is very good with being personable and understanding any questions/concerns you might have.
Welcome to the area!
