My garbage disposal stinks.
What do you use to get it to smell good?
Re: Garbage disposal!
First, I mix vinegar and warm water, then I wipe down the black rubber guard inside and outside.
Then, I pour ice and lemon juice down the drain with the water and disposal on.
Usually fixes the problem! I try to do this once a week.
Before I left for work I had an orange and threw the peelings in there to try and help it.
Thank you for the advice.
Quarter a whole lemon! The acid will over power the smells!
Lemon works great! I used to keep lemon quarters in the fridge and toss them in every once in awhile.
You can also buy these little balls to toss in and they smell pretty good. They're probably in the same place as dishwasher detergent.
