My neighbors moved. And when they left, they left their cats. They are all outdoor cats but with no family to take care of them they have made their way to my house (most likely because I'm a feeder of all stray animals, it's a sickness really...I feel like I have to feed them all so they don't die). So now I am the proud owner of 9 outdoor cats. I had one previously - another stray that showed up a few months ago.
The kicker? All 8 are female and my 1 that I've had a few months is male. I need to get the females fixed. I don't mind keeping them all, I just think it'll be way expensive to fix them all. SO anyone know of any programs to help get stray cats fixed?
Re: Cat Help
Angels of Asissi, call your local humane center, you may even be able to call your vet and get a group discount.
This reminds me that I need to get my two little kittens their shots. They are not old enough to be fixed yet but I will get that done ASAP. I was going to call a few local places and see what I can work out. I luckily only have 2, still trying to catch the others wondering around out there.
