Somebody on the Holidays board just brought to my attention that Christmas is 2 months away. That is seriously scary, considering I feel like this year has flown by.
That made me start to think about what the frigg to buy DH. I feel like we're still recovering from the wedding, so it shouldn't be extravagent.
What are you buying DH for Christmas? And what is on your list for Santa?

Re: Whoa
DH- Football and baseball cards
Me- I REALLY want a Nook
You?
For chanukkah, New Uggs would be nice...but honestly, I really want glee on blu ray. I love the show and want it. Or one of the other tv shows or things sitting in my amazon cart/wish list would be nice!
DH would love a new drill. His birthday is about 1 month before Christmas so I may get him the drill so we can get started on some things we want to do to the house or I can keep him in limbo waiting for it haha Other than that, anything miami dolphins, arsenal fc, or joe flacco related will do. I think as a gag I want to get him a build a bear bull dog. He really wants a bull dog and i said no so i thought it'd be cute. idk
At sea, heading to Lisbon, Portugal
We don't buy each other gifts since we already have way too much stuff. We usually travel or go out on a big date or something instead with the money.
If he could get anything he wanted, though, it would be more hunting stuff. I'm a big brat, and I want an iPad so that I can have my choice of three e-readers instead of just one.
Married / The Cookaholic Wife
I haven't even really thought about it, but I'm probably going to go the old wife route & get him some new clothes. He won't spend the money on it unless I either drag him out myself or just get it for him..
He'd rather put his money towards his idea of necessities like Xbox games & electronics.. meanwhile he's walking around with borderline transparent boxers
I don't know what I want yet.. maybe a kitten.
09.25.10
I reeeally want to ice cream maker attachment! That was the one I wanted the most, and the only one still left on our registry. :-( I just can't justify the cost of it when it's getting ready to be so cold out, and we don't really have the freezer space. Wanna buy each other Kitchenaid attachments for Christmas? :-)
gerren wants an ipod player thingy for the house, new sneakers, and jackets etc. from llbean, rei, carhart...
i want perfume and gift cards to a clothing boutique here. and all of the remaining gifts on our registry.
i am going to try to get gerren the sneaks and the ipod thingy. and i know he is getting me perfume. and then i think we will get a new mac as our big gift to each other.
Blog
don wants a ps3
i want a kitchenaid stand mixer since no one got it for us off the registry
we need a new computer, which my mom has graciously said she would get for us as our xmas gift so we're SO excited about that. our computer right now runs so slow since it's low on memory and its 6yr old.
I'm going to the Christmas Tree Shoppe tonight, I'm hoping to pick up some stuff for a housewarming gift and also for Christmas for the few gifts I need to buy - we've cut back and concentrated on spending time and it's been awesome.
We don't buy for each other, we usually put $$ towards hosting a huge bash, going on vacation or this year redoing the kitchen.
From other people, I think we're getting some of the remaining items off our registry. It's all little, kinda boring stuff (which is why no one bought it) but it will be nice to have and thankfully it is all stuff we can easily fit in our kitchen.
We decided not to exchange gifts, but we may wind up doing something small. Christmas with us always winds up being an arms race, because we start feeling the other is spending a lot so then we spend more, and so on and so forth. I think we will do one thing each - I think he noticed I was eyeing a sweater at J. Crew this weekend, and he even asked me what color I liked best, so I might be getting that from him. I was thinking about getting him the new Madden game for Wii, but we might buy it earlier since he's getting surgery in early December and will be on bed/couch rest for a while, so it would give him something to do.
I'll probably get Chris another Shun knife.
I'd love to get him a watch but his tastes there are way out of the budget for me. He likes the $5K watches. *gasp*
I want clothes and stuff. I've majorily turned girlie girl lately. Gimme shoes! and posh looking laptop bags. And coats!
TTC since 2010

Suprise BFP Jan 15 2013. Hope this one sticks!
We only spend $50 for gifts for each other then use the rest of the money we could have spent on something for the house, last year we bought a computer, this year we are thinking about new bedroom furniture.
With the $50 I wil probably get him a new shirt and undies.
I"m not sure what we're giving each other for Hannukah this year. DH is hard to shop for because he always insists he doesn't want/need anything, so I usually end up getting him a gift card of some kind.
My birthday occurs during Hannukah this year, 2x the presents perhaps?
I'm always happy with whatever DH gets me.
