Hey y'all! I posted this on the gardening board, but haven't gotten any responses yet... Anyone have any experience with this?
We have a hedge of boxwoods at our front porch that is turning brown in spots. We've had relatively sufficient rain so it isn't a drought issue (though I am pretty sure boxwoods are drought resistant anyway, right?) I noticed it a few weeks ago, and it's gotten progressively worse since. There are big patches of brown leaves, or bare stems.
We've lived in our home for 2 years, and I know this definitely didn't happen last fall. Any idea what it might be? I hope they're not dying. ![]()
TIA!
Re: RP: Help with boxwoods
ours did this. one half of a whole bush died.
we can't explain it because out of 4, this is the only one having a problem.
email me some pics and i'll forward it to my mom, she may be able to diagnose it (she's got her degree in horticulture and works in garden still).
otherwise, take some pics and bring them to your local extension office, they may be able to help.
