Sell me on Nashville!

Out of towner here..... DH and I are researching potential places to vacation to celebrate our anniversary next year, and Nashville is on our short list.  We were thinking of staying at a cute B&B or something.... or maybe a boutique hotel?

Please sell me on your town!  What kinds of things to see and do are there??  Any recommendations??

TIA!

Re: Sell me on Nashville!

  • You should definitely come to Nashville!! I'm not up to date on any B&B's, but check out Union Station Hotel and the Hutton Hotel - both are really cool, and downtown. As for what to do - even if you're not into country  music, walk downtown on Broadway/2nd Avenue at night. All the honky tonks, bars, etc. are fun and lively. During the day, check out Hillsboro Village or the 12th South District for local restaurants, bars, shopping, etc. Both are cool to walk around, and I've never been to a bad place in either of them. There are plenty of historic properties if you all are into that, plus the Frist Art Museum, Country Music Hall of Fame, and Parthenon tend to be popular destinations. Nashville should be your pick :)
