Tip-off!! I don't jump seasons so quickly but the best thing that has happened in Texas for football is that Tony Romo broke his collarbone.

Soooo, in honor of NBA starting this evening---GO CELTICS!!!!

Re: Tonight's the night!!
I feel like my sports life is back. I've been waiting for NBA season for months.
The Thunder tip off tomorrow night, and we're going to our first game of the season on Sunday...I am SO excited. I'm also a Mavs fan, but we'll see how far that gets me this year...
Yay NBA!!!
I'm glad you're still a Cavs fan. A lot of my friends jumped that ship this summer. I still like the Cavs...we bought tickets to see them play the Thunder later on this season, but I'm giving away the tickets we have for the Heat/Thunder game. Barf.
I am excited for tip off tonight! In Mass, there was a debate last night for the gubernatorial candidates. Election is one week away, race is tight and hotly contested, garnering national attention. The BIG debate was initially slated for tonight (one week from election day), but when the media folks realized they would be going against Celts/Heat and Lebron & Shaq, they changed the date. They knew no one would be watching the debate.LOL.
Go Celtics!
I honestly think this is the first time I've ever heard/read this from anyone. No one likes the NBA around us. Maybe because the closest team is the Grizzlies? IDK, but I just couldn't get over the fact that you said you'd been waiting for it for months!
Baha! Well, last season was really exciting because the OKC Thunder were much better than expected and were pretty much the talk of the state. After college football ends (since Oklahoma has no pro team), it's ALL about the Thunder around here. Last year was nuts during the end of the season and during the playoffs, and it was so fun to go to games and watch the team grow.
I get a little nuts about the NBA...I know a lot of people don't like it, but it's honestly my fave time of year. :P
Have I mentioned how much I Love love love love love KD??? Because I do!
LOL!!! The Heat Lost tonight!!!
I am sure James is like, "If this keeps up, I will have to go back to Cleveland."
The city would never take him back. I can't wait til the Heat come here for the first time, it will be a hostile crowd for sure.
This cracked me up.
I love John Wall! I'm so excited to watch him play this season...he's gonna do big things.
And um...Go Celtics!! Watched last night's game, and even though LeBron and Wade scored a ridiculous amount of points, it still wasn't enough to get them to win the game. Just shows you can't put a team together around three people.
Loved the Celt's home crowd booing LeBron everytime he got the ball. Felt like a playoff atmosphere. Cleveland isn't the only town that hates him.
That's true. Good point. So maybe you CAN build a team around three players, as long as they get the ball...this should be interesting. It was cracking me up how Boston was booing, too.
