Soup exchange

 I have heard of people doing a soup exchange but I have never been to one! I don't really know how it would turn out and wanted to get your opinion on if you were invited to a soup exchange, would you go? Its basically the same as a cookie exchange except with soup (obviously)! Everyone brings a pot of soup (all different) and then each person gets to leave with a little bit of each soup. Soup freezes really well so it would last forever! It sounds like a great idea and I know I would like to have a bunch of soup on hand throughout the winter! Good idea or no?

I have never heard of that, but yeah it sounds like a good idea!  Make sure no one brings any duplicates, and could everyone bring their soup already frozen into portions in ziploc freezer bags (it would be easier than to dish it out and worry about it spilling in the car on the way home).  And, some of the soups could be served that night too.  Oh, and make sure everyone gets copies of all of the soup recipes too!

I like all these suggestions. I love soup so I would definitely dig this!
