1. When was your first date with just you and DH/SO? August 1999. I was 18! 2. Who initiated? Where did you go? We were coworkers and we had been out with a group from work on non-dates a couple of times.  He asked me out to dinner and took me to a restaurant in Fisherman's Wharf (we lived in SF).3. Did you offer to pay/split the bill? Did he accept? He paid, I didn't offer.4. Be honest, were you impressed? Why or why not? OMG SOOOO impressed! I can only describe that night as dreamy. We talked for hours and hours wandering around Fisherman's Wharf afterward. He bought me lilies when every other guy had always bought red roses. 5. What's one thing about DH/SO that's different from any other guy you dated? Everything! My exes were sullen moody artist types and DH was so fun and interesting. He seemed so nice, and yet completely sure of himself. Huge difference from my exes!

2. Who initiated? Where did you go? He did, we went to Bennigans for a drink since we met on Match.  That way you aren't stuck there if you don't get along.  We met at 6 and left at midnight!

3. Did you offer to pay/split the bill? Did he accept? Yes, no...he paid.

4. Be honest, were you impressed? Why or why not?  I was impressed that we got along so well, but I wasn't 100% convinced it would work out.

5. What's one thing about DH/SO that's different from any other guy you dated?  He comes off as a bit harsh to others, but he is really sweet.  He opens doors for me (still to this day), he has the southern boy manners.

1. When was your first date with just you and DH/SO? Probably April 20062. Who initiated? Where did you go? He did. I came out to CA and I think the Clubhouse was the first place we went out3. Did you offer to pay/split the bill? Did he accept? Ummmm....no I didn't offer lol4. Be honest, were you impressed? Why or why not? Yeah, but there weren't any surprises we already had known each other/been friends through work for quite a while. I was impressed at how thoughtful he was/is5. What's one thing about DH/SO that's different from any other guy you dated? He genuinely makes me (or whoever he's speaking to) feel like he cares about the conversation. It's hard to describe but that combined with thoughtfulness and generosity makes a triple threat. He has a special kind of charisma I have never seen before.
