I signed up to run a 5K on Thanksgiving Day but thanks to my MIL's timing of our meal, I can't run it. This is the final run in a group of 4, and I really wanted to do it, but now I can't. Ugh. So annoyed.

Oh, that does suck keb. I'm sorry.

My whine is that DH took the afternoon off from work (12:30-5) and all I asked him to do was make some butternut squash chili for dinner before the ingredients go bad. He balked about it taking an hour to do and said he didn't want to spend his afternoon cooking. Um, okay, so now I have to leave work at 5, swing by daycare to pick up Alex, get home at 5:45, give him a bath, feed him, put him to bed, then start cooking dinner at 6:30.

Additionally, I totally ate 3 doughnuts today and am way off track with losing this postpartum weight.

I haven't been around much lately, but hi!

My whine is that I am so tried of school. I can't wait to finish.  I am working on a literature presentation that I just know is going to suck.

My hair stylist charged me $10 extra for a cut/color because my hair is so thick. NOT MY FAULT!

I have to get up at 4am tomorrow to get into Boston on time for our IVF class.

My laundry is not putting itself away... how rude!!

My skin looks like a 14-year-old's -- so broken out, and I'm not sure what the culprit is. 

So annoyed with DH the past few days. Ever have days where you feel more like your H's mom than wife? :-/

Oh yes, Mamie, I know that feeling.

I have another whine. I was getting something out of my closet the other day and hit my toe on a shoe. It hurt, but I didn't think it was that bad. A few minutes later I went to put my shoe on and noticed there was some blood on the end of my toe. Well I sat down to get a closer look and I had cracked my toe nail like half way back! It hurts sooo bad now. I have been wearing a band aid over it because I am sure I am going to end up ripping it the rest of the way off. I know it is going to fall off, but it really hurts for now!

It's Thursday but I'm still going to whine. 

I've basically been up since 3 am because my damn dog woke me up when a fire engine went past the house with the sirens blaring.  The dog howls in tune with the fire engine -- seriously he can make the same exact noise, which is funny when its not 3 am.  But then he was all excited and then I had to pee, and the baby wouldnt stop kicking me, and then it was hot and I basically just tossed and turned for the next 2 1/2 hours.  Of course, I fell asleep about 5:40 and then the alarm went off at 6 am.  Not fun.

A day late but I am really starting to be unhappy at work. 

DH & I have decided to move closer to my family but can't feasibly do it until after the new year.  Sooo basically just muddling through for the next few months until we can make the changes that will make us happy.

I got picked for grand jury duty. All day, every day for the next two weeks. Awesome. It happens to coincide with my busiest two weeks of work-- at my brand spanking new job. So much for a good first impression... Oh, and during said jury duty, I picked off my new awesome camo manicure in boredom. Then proceeded to bite my nails, a habit I thought I left behind in my angsty teen years. For the record, the camo mani, while uber cool, did not hide my fingers from my mouth. I'd like some cheese now please.
