Hello lovely girls! I have a quick question for you all... I was wondering what grocery store you shop at and for what reason? Convenience, coupons/deals, quality in produce/meat...etc. We usually shop at Fry's for no reason in particular, but looking at the ads today I saw great deals at other stores as well! Any input is greatly appreciated!
Re: grocery shopping..
We normally go to Costco for meats, fresh fruit, and any kind of stuff that we can stock up on without it going to waste. Once every 4-6 weeks usually.
Between trips there, we will go to Basha's or WalMart (both right by home), for milk, eggs, bread type stuff. If we want fresh veggies or fruit for something in particular, but not enough for a Costco run, we go to Sprouts.
Whole Foods for all my milk, cheese, eggs, produce, and meat. I like to by all organic in those item, no exceptions!
I usually go to Albertsons for the fillers, because it is the closest to my house. But I sometimes go to bashas and fresh and easy too.

TTC Journey Over~ Not By Choice
Man, I wish there was a Fresh and Easy anywhere remotely close to my house. The one that was to open is still sitting vacant with it's sign covered up.
I'm a fan of Bashas. they have some of the items which are difficult to find. My second choice would be Frys but they arn't close to where I live anymore. Bashas has a wonderful meat and produce department as well.
Oh and I don't mind Walmart but hate the crowds you have to endure there so only when I have other things to pick up do I ever do my grocery shopping at Walmart
Did the Fry's at Ellsworth/Southern close?

Usually, Sprouts, Whole Foods and Safeway.
Sprouts - great prices and lots of organic options
WF - I just love that place, and they are the only place I've found my cacao nibs at. So, since I need to go there for those, we do some other shopping there too.
Safeway - Closest.
This. But for fillers we usually go to Frye's or Wal-mart. Simply because they are cheap and close by.
(I was really annoyed that I put a - in between wal and mart in my previous response...so had to fix it. Yes, I'm neurotic like that.)
Thanks for all the info girls! H and I went shopping tonight and we got 2 free tickets to Suns vs. Lakers Friday night for spending over $100 @ Fry's! How awesome is that!!!??
TJ's and Sprouts for nearly everything.
The prices are better for the food that we buy (non-processed/organic etc)
I also avoid walmart like the plague
I used to shop mainly at Super Target because, well - it's Target so it's awesome.
However, now I do 95% of my shopping at Whole Foods due to a changre in how/what we are eating. It's $$$, but I love it.
