Re: Glee?

  • I thought it was a great episode--loved the Rocky Horrow Show--but I felt extremely uncomfortable at how sexualized it seemed last night.

Don't get me wrong, seeing Mr. S half naked was wonderful candy for my eyes....I just wonder why everything has to be about sex/ual appeal?  What's wrong with a show with great songs?  Obviously, it's becoming more of a societal norm, but sometimes I wish it wasn't. /shrug/

  • I loved it! That it was so much fun to watch, and loved the twist with frank-en-furter being played by a woman. I was so excited for this episode being a huge Rocky Horror fan! Also the tiny cameos by Meatloaf and Barry Bostwick were entertaining. I had time warp stuck in my head the whole day!

I take glee with a grain of salt, if it gets a little risque I always know that this is clearly not an actual high school and that it is just fun to watch.

    I agree with this!

  • I thought it was super fun!!!  Mr. Schu is kinda weird, but I enjoyed the episode and the songs.  I've never seen RHPS, which I'm sure would have made it more entertaining -- will need to throw it on my netflix.

I often agree with the reviews on Project Rungay.

Yeah he was bugging me with his weird jealousy.  I mean I get the jealousy but he was just weird.  However, him half naked was totally okay with me.

  • Not my favorite episode. I've never seen Rocky Horror and never really had an interest, so I wasn't really into it. I liked where the storyline was going though, and definitely can't complain about all the bare man-chests going on in the episode! Wink
  • Joe and I watched it together and everytime a new bare man chest was shown, I giggled and/or squealed and he groaned and rolled his eyes.  I thought that his eyes would be stuck in the back of his head by the time the show was over!  :)  But he never left the room, so I know he didn't hate it...  :D
