I thought it was illegal
to have a wedding during a SEC game in the south. I'm joking, sort of. So instead of watching my DAWGS kicks some Tide a$$ tomorrow evening (in a Blackout too!) I will be doing the electric slide at DH's cousins wedding. Did I mention that DH is going over to Athens to film it for the news? So not fair. I keep telling him he needs an "intern" to help him w/ cables and stuff and someone to navigate for him. Guess I'll have to sneak out every now and again to listen to the car radio and watch a replay on DVR.

Oh it definitely is illegal! lol... I had to explain this to my FIL who didn't understand why an October wedding was out of the question last year. Haha. There was more to it than that, but I can't say that football didn't play a role in my decision
Oh, and a few years ago I did have to go to a wedding on AL/GA game day. It was awful - groomsmen were sneaking out to the TV to check out the score.
my brother's wedding reception was last night (they had a courthouse wedding in may..just had a reception last night)...started at 6:30..game at 6:45. we're all crazed alabama fans.
my other 2 brothers left after about an hour...but i stayed longer. i know the married brother really wanted to leave too, but he waited it out. mom dvr'd it...so we all watched it once we got home
and don't feel bad.....as a georgia fan you didn't want to see what happened...
there was some a$$ whipped..but not the kind you were hoping for
