I just cancelled my credit card!!
This morning I paid out the last of one of my credit cards and then called the bank and cancelled it. It feels so good to have even a little bit of debt gone. Waaa Hoooo!!!!
However, I still have two more to go....so the joy is short lived.
Anyone else making post wedding finance headway?

Re: I just cancelled my credit card!!
I wish.
I think ours have somehow gotten worse. DH has a shitty job that doesn't pay well at all. He's looking for something better. Hopefully he'll find something that pays a living wage, then we can actually start paying down debt instead of just paying the minimum each month.
Bleh. I hate money.

Congrads!
We used the wedding money to pay down debt so we can start saving for whenever we get a house. I paid off my car and put a good chunk on my credit card
this. But we are putting it towards paying off student loans. We have be 100% dept (besides SL) free since the wedding! It is a wonderful feeling!
Congrats on your accomplishment! It does feel wonderful to be credit debt free! I chopped up all of my plastic (save the debit card) about 3 years ago...it's wonderful!
Good luck with getting the next one done! You are a third of the way there!!
Yup! Paid off two CCs and I have one more to go, then will close that last one only. I also will finish my car payment in Feb! Can't wait for that to be wrapped up!
I know your joy.... :-)
