Mom's who nurse (or mommies to be who will)
My BFF's baby shower is quickly approaching and I'd love to get her some nursing necklaces! She's like an accessory queen and plans to breast feed, so I figure these are SO up her ally.
I googled "nursing necklaces" and got a ton of crazy responses. Is there a specific brand anyone would recommend? Is there some place in town I can go check them out and see them in person?
Thanks ladies!

There are a ton on Etsy, and just from looking on the first page that come up, these are my favs:

Check out Sweet Pea Treasures on etsy.
It is actually kind of ironic because she just posted a whole bunch up on facebook.

I also had not heard of these, but I went to go look them up. I (unfortunately) couldn't nurse, but I think it's a cool concept. And I could see how even babies who don't nurse might like to play with those necklaces.
I ditto the PP who suggested Etsy. Go to Etsy and type in Nursing Necklace, and you will get a lot of options.
I also found this place, if you are looking for something less simple.

I've heard of them and think it's a great concept. I'd def. try Etsy or watch babyhalfoff.com. I think they have them sometimes.
Sorry, I can't give you a rec. for a specific one.
I had heard of them, but I thought they were more for teething or something that LO can chew on that was safer than a normal necklace that a mom would wear. This is the first time I had read that they are designed as a distraction for breastfeeding.
I do think you should look at Etsy for them or here.
They have those too, Kristie. Some of them are made with Amber as it's supposed to help with the pain also.
