Cipolla

Aren't you from one of the cities this article mentions?  If yes, have you gone ToT since this law was introduced?

Matt loves Munkii!!!

Re: Cipolla

  • Yes I live in fabulous Bellevegas aka Belleville.  This has been the talk around the water cooler today.  I honestly did not know that this even existed.  My final year of TOT was when I was a freshman in High School...way back in the day.  We did pass out candy last year and I didn't have a problem with any 6 foot tall Trick or Treaters nor did I feel threatened or scared to open my door.  People are ridiculous....  But I did have a problem with 4 foot rude ass children shoving their hands in my candy bowl....  Angry
  • I also grew up in Belleville (small world!) but this law wasn't passed until about 2 years ago.  The last year I went trick or treating was my sophomore year of high school (in which I probably still LOOKED 12 lol) and only one person said anything to us about it... they just asked how old we are and weren't we a little old to be TOT.  I have a pretty strong feeling that Belleville passed this law to cut down on crime, which has been increasing in the last decade.  I think it sucks that our society has to put limits on when children have to stop "being kids," but I can see where it would make it safer for the public in general in cities that don't have the safest neighborhoods Huh?
  • I just told my co-worker who lives in Belleville.  She had no idea this was banned!  She said she definitely gets teenage trick or treaters.  I told her if she gets them this year, she can call the cops! :)
