okay, just had my exam...no change! Hurray!
That's the good news. I will be going home today after breakfast and after the MDs come in to do their rounds.
Bad news: After some discussion, the MDs seem to think that based on 1) the excess of fluid that I have and 2) Molly's size (estimated at 4 lbs 2 oz at 30.5 wks) that even though I passed my 3 hour that I may have GD. So, after this coming week, they want me to do the 3 hour again. This week, the betameth would affect the outcome, so I need to wait until that is all taken care of in my body first.
I will be going immediately on weekly ob visits starting with this week. I am to call and get in to see my OB before Wednesday. Lucky guy.
The OB here said (in Matt's presence, ha, so he can't call me a liar) that I need to take it easy. Not bedrest, per se, but no laundry/cleaning ( like I did that shizz anyway, I already couldn't reach the bottom of the washer and dryer. I was only folding now) and things of that sort. I asked her about the likelihood of a preemie and she said it is SO hard to tell. The good sign is that I have NOT changed since I've been here. So whatever it was, they have at least temporarily gotten it under control. Now that ill be seeing my OB every week, we'll be watching for change. I am to call off hours if I get contracting, but she's also ordered me to overhydrate (grrrrrreaaaat) for the remainder of the PG, as well.
I think that is all the news that is fit to print at the moment. I did manage to sleep pretty well last night b/c my IV started aching so I looked cute and got them to take it out, so I had nothing attached to me all night.
Thanks for all the support. It means so much to come here and read all the well wishes and thoughts from all of you... especially when I don't know what is going to happen and I'm nervous about all the possibilities.
Melissa- I had no decision making factor in where I was moved. For whatever reason, based on where I was at in my PG, the immediate options for my OB were Brigham & Women's and DH. I had immediately thought Eliot, so I was kind of surprised, but I didn't want to question him.
I expect to be home sometime this afternoon.

hey guuuuuurrrrlllll, whad up?
seriously, so glad to hear that molly didn't make her debut, at least for this weekend hahaha. i have been praying for you all and once health restores in my household (now ricky is a boogery mess too) i will come and bring you something yummy. and entertain the man for you.
Hey hun ... I'm getting all emotional reading your posts ... I am so glad Molly is nice and strong although I am praying she stays put a little while longer. I'm so sorry you have to go through this but it sounds like you are getting phenomenal care and you and Matt are handling it like the amazing people you are (no surprise there).
I totally hear you on the overhydrating thing, I could probably float away on how much water I drink right now but it has been helping so I hope it helps a bit for you too. And as a side note ... Doug grew up right down the street from DHMC so I am quite familiar with that "in the middle of nowhere" place and it really, really is ... in the middle of nowhere.
Hope your trip home is safe and comfortable and keep us posted when you are up to it. I will give you a call later this week to say hi and maybe come for a visit if you're up to it.

I'm so glad to hear that you are busting outta there and that there has been no change! You are right that Molly is going to be trouble, I think!
I think you have all of my contact info.....if you need ANYTHING at all, do not hesitate to ask! Also - can I get in touch with the GNMC Helping Hands to get some dinners for ya or anything? I'd be more than happy to do at least that.
I am so relieved for you, Heather! You keep that little girl a'cookin for a little while longer, ok?
And, as far as Elliot v. DHMC, I think DHMC has some things Elliot doesn't...at least that's why we ended up having Jordan transferred from Elliot to Children's.
