Re: Halloween Poll

  • We're going to DH's best friends party and he is a chef and works for a very wealthy family (William Howard Taft's granddaughter). So Christian is gonna be his friend wearing a chef's outfit, etc and I'm gonna be his boss (gray wig, with a martini in my hand, etc. Probably sounds random, kinda gotta know him to get it ;)

  • DH refuses to dress up for Halloween.  I'll be working all day, and sonce I work for a nursing home, I'll be dressing as a red hat lady.  The residents here love it.

  • The DH is a Mr. McFunhater, so he doesn't dress up.  I on the other hand am rocking my 80's punk gear today.

  • DH and I are going as characters from Mad Men.  I'm going to be Joan Holloway and DH is going as Freddy Rumsen... when he peed his pants in front of coworkers in his office while drunk.  In order to keep DH's pants looking wet all night we're going to pour vegetable oil down the front since that should leave a nice stain.

I don't get DH.  He wouldn't dress up as any of the other characters and barely wanted to dress up at all for Halloween, yet he's willing to walk around all night looking like he wet himself... silly boys.

    Lol!

As far as us, we're both going as lame. Or, I should say we just are lame and aren't dressing up, like usual. I will live vicariously through you ladies :)

I love this! as I'm a Mad Men fan myself...and I think is hilarious that he is willing to hang out all night with "pee" pants.

And we are not going to dress this year..DH has to work all day Sunday and we have a photoshoot Saturday morning, so he says he just wanted to rest and hand out candy if the kids come to trick or treat.

You like the "Mr. McFunhater?"  I call him that all the time when he wants to be lame.  It's really funny when I try to say it after I've had a few drinks and DH is saying we cant do something and  I just can't quite get the words out right.  :)

  • I'm just passing out candy to all the little goblins.
  • HUGE Halloween party this year so the boy and I scoured several stores looking for the perfect costumes.  Originally we were going to go as a banana (me) and a gorilla (him).  I found a great banana costume but we didn't find a gorilla costume or even mask!  So then I had the idea to go as a Unicorn (him) and Glitter (me) (from the Progressive commercial).  I found the BEST unicorn costume but he wimped out.

Then we thought we ordered a small Red Riding Hood costume and a large Wolf costume from KMart... but they got the order backwards and it was too late to exchange.  So we went to KMart and scoured their costume section on 50% off day and found the perfect costumes... we are going as Mario (me) and Luigi (him)!!!  The costumes are adorable and hilarious!  I am SO excited for Halloween!!!

Though I think Unicorns and Glitter would have been better.  :P

  • I'm lame and am not dressing up this year. I might wear my scrubs to hand out candy just to seem more "festive". DH is going to a club after work tonight with his friends and is dressing up as a Jedi. One of his friends is going as a Chipendale's dancer and has been working out hard core to get in shape for his "costume", lol!

I'm not going out with them because it's lingerie night and there's no way I'm participating and I don't care to spend the night giving my husband evil eyes for starting at other women or making comments to his friends. I'd much rather stay home and sleep.

  • DH thinks dressing up is dumb.  However, we are having a halloween party tomorrow.  I was lucky enough to find a t-shirt that looks like what I wanted him to be...so we are going as Fred and Wilma Flintstone.  My BIL and SIL are going as Betty and Barney Rubble 8)
  • We're being nomads and driving home from CO tomorrow.
