New to the board
Hello. I am new to this board, I was just recently married in a destination wedding in Punta Cana and shortly after my new husband and I relocated across the country from a suburb of Philadelphia to a suburb of Phoenix. I had lived in Philadelphia my entire life so it has been an adjustment to be away from my family but we love it so far!
I am 32, a corporate recruiter (who works from home) and a dog trainer (at least I was in PA but have yet to find a job here!). I have three crazy cats and a crazy dog that keep us on our toes. I LOVE dog training, LOVE all things cute and furry, enjoy reading and just got back into my fitness regime. I am now running every other day on the couch to 10K program and doing the warrior diet. Down 18 pds, 48 more to go! 
I have had a hard time making friends here as I work from home and can't afford right now to join a fitness class. It's not like you can just go out to a singles bar to meet other ladies right? Anyway, I look forward to getting to know all of you on here. Thanks for listening!

I know what you mean! I've been living here just over a year, and have only met a few people here and there, and so far, no one that I hang out with regularly. None of my family or long time friends are here.

if you facebook it up, we have a private fb group 'arizona nesties' you can request to join and i will accept your request. we have several g2gs planned. we have a fall brunch potluck coming up on 11/13. hopefully you can join us! most of the g2gs are in the downtown/biltmore/old town scottsdale area which is pretty good for everyone since we have nesties all over the valley.

Thank you again! I am in Gilbert right now. We are renting currently because we wanted to get to know the area. We are in the far SE corner of Gilbert, at Power and Ray. We want to either get closer in towards Phoenix or further North by Scottsdale. We are pretty active people with no children (and no plans on any) so Gilbert being family friendly is great-just not for us, as least right now. We love it so far..it is great here. People so friendly, the sky is so beautiful, we are thrilled to be here.
