Is it alright to use Dr Bronner liquid soap if I'm to lazy

to grate a bar of soap? I remember a recipe that had suggested using the liquid soap (it was even a powder recipe) and I can't find it now. Also is it safe to use essential oil?

Re: Laundry Detergent Q
You might be talking about this powder recipe with liquid soap. I also have better things to do than grate bars of soap, and don't have a food processor.
We've been using it for awhile with good results. We also tried making the gel form, and the liquid form. FWIW, those didn't seem to work as well for us (the gel was really like the liquid), so we're sticking with the powder.
Yes, that's it. Thank you!
