Are you planting anything now? What have you done this season?
I did mums, planted a bunch of bulbs for spring, and I am hoping to get DH to help me turn over the weedy area along the back of the house do we can get some things in there before it gets too cold!
Re: Fall Planting Poll
Not planting anything for the rest of the season. It's gotten too cold for my taste.
I planted some mums and coreopsis in September, and my broccoli is humming along.
Our little Irish rose came to us on March 5, 2010
Don't drink the water.

Have you seen my monkey?
All of my veggies are started in the raised beds. The snap peas and broccoli are doing fantastic. The carrots and romaine lettuce have me worried. They don't seeming to be growing fast enough. But, I'll leave it alone and see how it goes.
The only thing I'm planting this weekend will be dutch iris bulbs. I kinda want to plant some tulip and daffodil bulbs, but I honestly won't have the time to really design the beds the way that I want, so I'll wait until next year.
Other than that, it's just time to weed the beds and put down mulch. My dad and I will be working this weekend to take care of my woefully neglected weeding tasks.
I just planted the garlic and shallot bulbs for next summer's harvest. My broccoli is going like gangbusters. And I still have tomatoes and bell peppers (yay for warm concrete walls that make a toasty micro-climate.)
Tomorrow I will plant some tulip and iris bulbs. And I want to try to grow lettuce and spinach in a hoop house this winter...
