...I mean after our canceled wedding I could not possibly expect to have my anniversary trip go smoothly, right? But I guess this time around turned out to be in our advantage.
We were supposed to stay at the Clontarf Castle which is a 4star hotel and since we booked though Expedia they re-booked us on The Fitzwilliam Hotel which is a 5star hotel, twice as expensive, right in the city of Dublin for the same price.
And...we get a $100 off our next booking with Expedia so we can now splurge and stay at the Adare Manor which is pretty awesome. Now I'm re-planning our route to allow us enough time to be able to make it to Limerick, just to stay there.
I was bummed at first, but I'm kinda excited for the change now.
Re: Of Course they Canceled our Anniversary hotel!
Oh no! I'm glad it worked out but man! This is the 2nd time this week I've heard a bad experience with Expedia. I've never booked through an online company like that and I never will. I find I get better deals looking through Expedia and then going straight to the source to book.
Have a great anniversary!
oh wow!
I'd take that as a sign.
Things may hick up at times for you, but they will always end well
