Bridal Salons in CLT area?

I am going dress shopping with my sister in law in a few weeks.
Where did you get your dress in the area?

I got married in IL so I have no idea about anything bridal around here.

My sister got hers at Bridal Mart. Awesome prices. I can't remember exactly where it was...I think about 45 min north of the city. You can also order over the phone and have them ship to you if you find one you like elsewhere.

Hey KAC!  I got my dress at Mecklenburg Bridal - they had a great selection and I was happy with the service and alterations.  I also really liked J.Majors and Nitsa's.  Nitsa's is definitely more expensive (Vera Wang, Judd Waddell, etc.).  I also went to a place in Gastonia called Poffie Girls.  Stupid name, but they also had a good variety in different price ranges.  A friend bought her dress there, and they sold my dress there, but Mecklenburg Bridal did too and it was so much closer.  Since I bought my dress I've seen NY Bride in the South End and Hayden & Olivia in Uptown.  Both look nice, but I don't know anything about them.  Have fun shopping!

I honestly don't remember all of the places that we went? But I ended up getting my dress and the bridesmaid dresses from Poffie Girls in Gastonia.

add Darlynn's to your list. it's in matthews. they have a great selection. i like Poffie Girls too. i didn't get my dress there, but i've gone with friends to find theirs.

I got mine @ Poffie Girls in Gastonia...love them!  I worked with Elaine who was fantastic!
