new to anniv board - just saying hi
Hi, a fellow nestie from GP informed me that we have anniversary boards on TN - had no clue! So, i thought i would check it out here.
My DH and i offically got married in May and our 6 month anniversary is coming up. I used TK for lots of planning and post on several boards here (mainly F&B). I look forward to celebrating our 1st Christmas married.
That's all - just wanted to say hi.

Yes... if you need an example of stories we appreciate, just read any one of Stu's posts - anything with "Adam" in the subject line is guaranteed to produce the giggle-snorts. I wish Kevin did funny things in his sleep. He's not even really clumsy. D@mn.
DH and I have been together for about 5 years and live in PA. We both have good jobs right now (::knocks on wood::). I have a large family - 4 brothers and 1 sister so my life is hectic but lots of fun at the same time.
I loved my wedding but relieved its over so i dont have to plan anymore. It was fun for a while but sometimes when i think back to my knot days, i feel a little nauseous. Oh and we honeymooned in St. Lucia which i just learned was wrecked from the latest hurricane.
I reviewed a few pages of posts and this board seems like a lot of fun and really laid back. Oh i can share lots of dipsh*t co-worker stories since I do HR/Emp Relations for a pharma company.

Where are you located in PA? I'm from Philly!
Well, Stu, you would hate me then. I "see" things in my sleep and one night i woke up DH and told him "dont freak out but there is HUGE spider on you!". He was so mad at me, understandably, but i swear i saw it. I also swear i saw a man standing over my bed - could draw out features and everything. The other day i woke up crying that a lizard was on the TV and once i freaked out that a bunny was trying to kill me.
My DH, Joe, is not as bad, but he does drool on me and gets twitches/shakes and i feel like i am being attacked when i feel him do that. He also talks in his sleep and when he has bad dreams, he will pop up and yell. Oh and we bought a king bed last year, though i am not sure why, since he literally wiggles over to my side and allows me a whole 5 inches of space. I think the worst is when i move my feet and feel his socks at the bottom - gross, but to get back at him i stick them in his pillowcase. Now that's love!
We are a horrible "sleeping in the same bed" couple.

I definitely remember you from the knot! We have lived all over - from manayunk to plymouth meeting, wayne, and even had a short stint in NJ, and now we live in Downingtown. My DH works near the philly airport though and most of his friends live close to there. Where are you in Philly?

jay made me watch this movie a few months ago, i didn't sleep right for months!!!!
buggy (love this nickname stu) we honeymooned in st lucia too and i heard about the honeymoon, so sad!
p.s. my husband and I are terrible sleeping together couple too!

Hey there! I'm Ashley & DH is Matt. We honeymooned in St. Lucia, too. One of my "friends" from my local TK board is actually on her honeymoon there right now and they're STUCK because everything is shut down.
Anyway - Nice to meet you! We're always glad to have more friends. And we like stories.
