Best Gifts for Toddlers??

My niece is 19 months old. I usually get her a cute outfit or two. I want to get her some toys this year since she is big enough to play now. I prefer something educational as well as fun.

Ideas?

Re: Best Gifts for Toddlers??

  • What about starting her off with something like Brio Trains? It's a set her parents can always add to and all subsequent kids will also love it.

  • books, blocks, shape sorters
  • puzzles are always good
  • Baby doll and a stroller or maybe some dress up clothes
  • LeapFrog Toys are FANTASTIC!! They are fun for the kids but educational at the same time. I just order a ton of stuff from their website, with 15%off with the code CSLEAP15 and they're offering Free shipping on orders over $50.  Good Luck!

  • i agree with the educational toys, also some puzzles?
  • What about Holiday Barbie? It could be a tradition, that way you have a gift idea every year :)
  • It's funny that I have absolutely no experience here. We always get my nieces clothes because they literally have a mountain of toys (several I think). Other friends of mine always get their toddlers things like play kitchens; things that aren't educational at all. A woman I work with either is planning to give or already gave her 3 yr old toddler makeup which she is "totally into right now". good for you for trying to keep it educational!
