A Christmas post!

DH and I are hosting our second Ugly Christmas Sweater party this year and I'm on the hunt for some invitation wording. I found a great little poem for last year but, I can't find it to refer back to this year!

So far, all I have come up with is: "Christmas time is in the air - finally a chance to find dig up that sweater that you swore you'd never wear!"

Eh?

Does anyone have anything else to contribute? Thank you!

Re: A Christmas post!

  • In the movie, Bridget Jones Diary, Mark Darcy is wearing an ugly reindeer sweater....How about pulling a still from the movie.
  • The rhyme is cute.

I have to agree with PP on the visual though.  I've heard of ugly sweater parties, but for those who haven't, they might need a little direction.  If not a movie photo, maybe clip art of tacky tops.

    GL!

  • And for those of us that recycled all of our awesome (read- horrendous) sweaters in the early 90's - a reminder that they still exist at thrift stores & the good will!

What about "Calling one and all to get out their Christmas sweaters.  Just like last year, the uglier the better."

"This is your Christmas letter to remind you to get out that ugly sweater!"

     That's all I got.

  • I love that! Thank you!
